On August 1st, 2022, at the invitation of VINACOMIN-MINERALS HOLDING CORPORATION(hereinafter referred to as VIMICO), NFC’s president Mr.Qin Junman went to the site of Lao Cai Copper Smelting Expansion Project in Vietnam to participate in the 15th Anniversary Celebration of Lao Cai Copper Smelting Branch.
Before the celebration, Mr.Qin Junman inspected the site of the expansion project of Lao Cai Copper Smelter and fully affirmed the achievement of construction work. Mr. Qin Junman asked the project department to stick to the goal and ensure the successful completion of the project.
At the celebration,VIMICO’s chairman Mr. Nguyen Vanhai expressed his high recognition for NFC. He pointed out that in the past 15 years, with the help of NFC, VIMICO has not only ended the history of not producing copper in Vietnam, but also made innovations and breakthroughs continuously in product quality, technology and production capacity. The first phase smelter has created good economic benefits for VIMICO. For the expansion project, under the influence of COVID-19, NFC has overcome many difficulties and completed the construction work safely and with high quality. The tenacious style and the idea of serving the owners wholeheartedly of NFC have left a deep impression on VIMICO’s management, and also won the high recognition of the relevant government departments in Lao Cai Province.
The project manager of Lao Cai Copper Expansion Project of NFC,the representative of NFC’s Vietnam Representative Office and other relevant personnel were accompanied to participate in the activities.
